"Its All Vibes"
The Democratic Party's Bro Pivot has a poster boy in Ohio's 7th. A former Republican with an expansive rap sheet who thinks policy doesn't matter. Voters deserve to know what they are being sold.

Mark Leibovich of The Atlantic sat down with Brian Poindexter, the Democratic nominee in Ohio’s 7th District, at a deli outside Cleveland. Poindexter had just finished a Reuben when he explained why Democrats keep losing men. “It’s all vibes,” he said.
I ran against Brian Poindexter in the OH-7 primary. Even though you may have heard differently from operatives working in Northeast Ohio who have never had a conversation with me, I’m not angry or “bitter” about losing my race. I was up against a machine as just one person, worked hard, and am happy at how I placed. But, I’m still a Democrat who believes the party is on the wrong track and I can’t look away from the way the party recruits candidates or determines which ones to support. There is a brand of internal toxicity the party tolerates that has contributed to where we are now, as a country.
I certainly don’t believe any campaign for Congress should be built on vibes when there is so much as stake for our country. Why? Because a campaign built on vibes doesn’t address the policies that have been written by special interest that continue to screw people.
